Screenprint Your Own Gift Wrap
TOP RATED
Arts & DIY
Gift giving with the most personal touch? When you've designed and printed your own wrapping paper, you'll smile when you hand a loved one a gift.
For those disillusioned with the traditional Hallmark options, come to Spudnik with your own design or illustration. Learn to create a repeatable tessellation or use your design to print a randomized repeat. Once designs are finalized, students will have a screen made, select an ink color, learn the basic printing process, plus tricks for printing images in repeat.
Each person will leave with their own roll of custom gift wrap, as elegant, or devious, or wacky as they desire.
All ages welcome

Originally from oil-refinery lined horizons of Ohio, Ashlee now exists as an artist in Chicago. In 2013 Ashlee received her Bachelors of Fine Arts with an emphasis in printmaking from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Although Ashlee studied printmaking in her undergraduate years, her artwork travels across various mediums such as screen printing, letterpress, woodcut relief, drawing, painting, photography, performance, collage, and neon. Ashlee’s time growing up in the middle of America has left her work concerned with ideas of consumption and communication as well as the disruption of the everyday. Billboards and strip malls supply plenty of source material for her work.
Ashlee will be co-teaching with Ness Rago.
