Event Overview

The Summer Acting Lab is an opportunity to learn and explore the fundamentals of acting!  Each day begins with an acting class to build new skills, and the second part of the morning is dedicated to creating an original show!

With an emphasis on collaboration and ensemble, students will create from scratch a theater piece inspired by a specific starting point of the students’ choosing, such as a theme or piece of visual art.  The rehearsal process will consist of activities designed to spark creativity and generate material.  Subsequently, these explorations will be shaped into an original piece of storytelling to share with an audience on the last day!

Two Roads Theatre Project Mission:
Through small class sizes, individualized instruction, and a sense of play in a non-competitive environment, Two Roads Theatre Project teaches the craft of Acting in order to cultivate artistry, foster creativity, and develop transferable skills to last a lifetime.
