Event Overview
Learn how to manage typography, layout multiple page documents, import in photos and much more in this introduction to InDesign class.
Please bring your own laptop with InDesign CS3 or higher. Trial versions can be downloaded here if you truly do just want to dabble but please be aware they are only usable for one week. http://www.adobe.com/downloads.html
This class will be a fun in interactive introduction to InDesign. We will cover all the basics starting with simply setting up a new document. I will teach as much as I can during the 3 hours, including a small project that you will work through at the end of the class to solidify what you have learned.
Once you have completed this course and are interested in learning even more InDesign skills, I will likely be scheduling an intermediate class as a follow up so stay tuned.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
Hi! I'm Kimi! I'm a design nerd specializing in print design and production.
I graduated from Columbia College Chicago with my degree in Graphic Design in 2008. I am now a Production Designer at McGuffin Creative Group. I specialize in print production, with my skills focusing on typography, color set up, multiple page layouts and file proofing.
I look forward to sharing my technical knowledge of Adobe programs with Dabblers.
