My name is Julie Gyondla, and I’ve been the head chef for Learn More, Live More since the Spring of 2016. I’m very excited to teach you as much as I can about preparing delicious, healthy food for you, your friends, and your family to enjoy.
I graduated from Kendall College with my Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts in the Spring of 2011. It was there that I learned classical French techniques for making food taste really delicious, but there wasn’t always a healthy element to what we were doing. I decided to focus my time on making healthy food that would knock your socks off with flavor and satisfy all those cravings without the guilt.
Most recently, I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with my Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science. While most of my coursework focused on the dietitian’s role in a hospital, I gained a vast amount of knowledge about healthy eating in everyday life that I believe everyone is fit to learn. I try to sprinkle bits of information throughout my life and hopefully you can learn to do the same.
I hope to see you in one of my classes soon! Sign up for classes through the LMLM website and feel free to let me know about any classes you’d be interested in taking that I might not offer yet. Let’s do this!
