You can enjoy both while supporting Urban Threads Studios at our Second Annual Brews & Bargains at the Bridgeport Art Fashion Design Center, This is a special invitation for the Dabble community to our annual fundraiser.
Join us Friday November 7th at 7pm for an evening of delicious craft beer tasting, an open buffet, and an incredible textile art auction. You can support Urban Threads Studio’s mission of “Textile Arts for All” while you have fun outbidding your friends on amazing limited edition prints, one of a kind textiles, unique holiday crafts, and much more.
Only $25 for an open buffet and libations, beer tasting, and the chance to bid on items such as prints and one of a kind textiles (scarves, bags, pillows, table runners). Tickets are limited and only available in advance at here.
Come support our collaborative studio to continue providing the ultimate DIY space and experiences in the textile arts - from appliqué to sewing across Chicagoland. UTS enables you to craft and create all on your own!

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
We are a Not For Profit organization whose mission is "Textile Art for All". If it is textile based and you can make it by hand, we want to teach it in our studios at the beautiful Bridgeport Art Center! Our philosophy is to run contemporary, hands-on, project-based workshops, so that you can come along, learn something new and go home with a finished product or a new skill. Why? Because there is tremendous power in making something yourself. You will learn new skills or revisit old ones; you will discover the joy of working with your hands and you will find an outlet for your creativity. Along the way you will review your spirit and perhaps make a few new friends. All of our classes are taught by visiting artists and/or experts in the field. We offer adult workshops in beginning sewing, intermediate sewing, couture sewing and 45 different surface design techniques. For kids we offer Saturday programs and summer camps. We also offer textile art events for birthdays, bridal showers, girls night out etc. so ask Dabble about group pricing.
All of our classes are offered at a nominal fee and all proceeds are used to bring textile arts to urban youth in Chicago in form of after school programs, summer programs, apprenticeships and internships.
