Event Overview

What would life look like if you were engaged and inspired instead of feeling lost, lonely and confused about your life's purpose? Come create your own personalized journal and fill it with inspiration. This two-hour workshop will teach you how to design and make a journal. All levels of craftiness are welcome! You’ll also find inspiration, uncover your personal path and start moving forward on your goals and passions.

Once you make your journal we’ll start using it immediately and do a mind mapping exercise to get clarity on what you want in your life, whether that is passion, creativity, mindfulness, travel or more home cooked meals with friends. Then we’ll zoom way in to pick one thing to focus on and develop a system to get you moving forward with intention and purpose.

You’ll learn basic bookbinding skills and receive instructions to take home so you can make a journal on your own.

  • Get actionable clarity around what you are interested in, not just wonder wtf is your bliss

  • Learn how to set smart, actionable to do’s that will get you moving in the right direction

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

Kandy M. Christensen is a Certified Interior Decorator and the owner of Meandering Design. She is a maker, dreamer, photographer, thrifter, traveler, decorator, teacher, and fabric hoarder. She is passionate about good design.

Combining her love of stories, photography, craftsmanship, and beauty, Krysta Williams is a professional bookbinder and photographer. Krysta believes crafting is a form of both self-care and self-help, and also an outlet for creative expression through which people thrive. Her earliest memories involve glue and paper crafts at her grandparent's kitchen table and an unhurried pace all her own, so it's not so surprising that she found her way to the art of the handmade book. She is very excited to share the meticulous, soothing joy of hand-binding books with others through this workshop.
