Event Overview

Learn the basics of developing a mobile applications for multiple platforms using Phonegap/Cordova. The Phonegap platform lets you make apps for iOS, Android, and Windows mobile using HTML 5, Javascript, and CSS 3 and is a great way to get into developing your first application.

I plan to go over getting the platform up and running, some best practices to make your life easier and get your first baby app working, and sharing a few "gotcha"'s from my experience. For the sake of keeping the class on track, I will only go over getting a basic app up and running in the **iOS simulator in XCode**.

You should come out of this class with basic understanding of the platform, knowledge of where to go to continue learning, and an your first working app!
