Event Overview

Did your year get off to a rocky start? New Year Resolutions already forgotten? Did you have a plan for this year and are already frustrated at your progress? This workshop is the perfect art therapy for you.

This collage workshop allows artists of all levels to work out their conscious and subconscious hopes, dreams and wants - all through the artist process. Learn how to get started, how to unblock the artist inside of you, all in a fun, nurturing environment. Learn about collage techniques, explore materials through making art and learning about past and current collage artists.

Each participant will end the class with a deeper knowledge of their art making process, through understanding their spiritual goals for the year - and leave class with a piece of artwork that will inspire them to live this current year to the fullest!

The class will start with some left brain/right brain activities to get us started - and then will each concentrate on one larger piece.

Perfect for artists and non-artists. Open to all levels!


What will be provided:
Paper, scissors, adhesive, decorative paper, magazines, books/ephemera all for use in the art making process.

What you need to bring:
Bring your ideas, your hopes, dreams and plans! It helps if the participants have thought about what they hope to accomplish at this workshop. Bring an open mind! If you are working with any
