Event Overview

Pregnancy can be a very stressful time, both physically and emotionally. The body undergoes many changes that can lead to quite a bit of discomfort for the expecting mother. Massage therapy can be an amazing tool in easing some of the aches and pains that come with child-bearing. Not only is massage great for mom, it’s an awesome way for partners to show support and help relieve some of the stresses of pregnancy.

In this workshop, I will guide you through the basics of giving your baby mama massage during pregnancy.

You will learn:
- How to position and bolster for comfort during the massage.
- What areas to avoid during massage.
- How to use massage in preparation for labor and delivery.
- Massage techniques to alleviate such discomforts as:
- Low back pain
- Sciatic pain
- Difficulty sleeping
- Headaches
- Leg cramps
- Swelling

Massage is a great way to get relief from your pregnancy woes but it is also a good time to connect with your partner as you embark on the journey of parenthood together. This workshop will enable you to grow together as you prepare to welcome your new bundle of joy into your lives.
