Event Overview
Gold balls, tinsel, pre-lit garland, asking the housekeeper to decorate the tree. Sometimes the holiday season begs for a bit more personal, hand-crafted touch.
In this class, Dabblers will do just that by learning how to create your own ornaments. Starting with heavy cardboard (don’t knock cardboard – it has infinite potential when it comes to fir tree adornments) and paint, you will create two to three ornaments to take home in time for the holiday season.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
Alberta is an accomplished artist and craftsperson whose work has been featured in gift shops nationwide. She’s also a recently retired elementary art teacher and currently teaches at after-school drawing programs in various Plainfield and Joliet elementary schools. A lifelong arts and crafts enthusiast, she’s always dabbling with a new project.
