Class topic: Cuban Food - Tampa Style

Growing up in Tampa, Florida, Jen Berman was lucky to learn about and love a particular variation of Cuban cuisine—the Tampa style! The famous “Cuban Sandwich” is said to have originated in Tampa when the cigar industry came to Ybor City. Along with the sandwich came a couple of other special dishes that Jen will be sharing with the class—the “Devil Crab” and “Spanish Bean Soup”. Attendees of this session will get hands on experience making, and most importantly, eating these two delicious examples of immigrant cuisine around the community table. You won’t want to miss it!

This class is BYOB. We will sit down to enjoy the meal we've cooked together at the end of class!
