What are the advantages of incorporating warm ups, stretches and cool downs in your workouts? Using these fitness fundamentals will help prevent injury and improve your performance.
 
Achieve the most out of your workout. Meet Kaleena Valdez who will give you the knowledge and training to help you succeed.


At the end of each class, is an ask the instructor that is included in the last 15 minutes of each session to give even more individualized attention and direction.


Class sizes are small so they are extra attentive, fun, and customized to the student(s).

Classes meet Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 5:15am - 6:30am and Thursday evenings from 7pm - 8:15pm, and can be worked into your regular workout routine.


The location is conveniently located near the Berwyn Redline and many buses. There is also plenty of street parking west of Broadway near the location as well.


Due to the length of the class, we cannot accept latecomers, but will work with you to reschedule upon request. Classes start promptly at the scheduled time.

Hello!
 
My name is Kaleena Valdez and I am a Dance Educator, Performer, and Enthusiast with 15 years of experience and counting.  I am currently a teacher and choreographer for The Ballet Folklorico Yolotzin and a member of The Academy of Mexican Dance and Music. 
A few of the dance forms that I practice are Ballet, Mexican folk dance, Flamenco, and Modern.
 
In the class ‘Fitness Fundamentals’ we will incorporate dance related movement to learn how to properly and effectively warm-up, stretch, and cool-down.  We will concentrate mainly on these three fundamentals in order to gain the most from our class workouts.
 
Most importantly, I value the relationship between student and teacher and I am 100% dedicated to creating and maintaining a positive and safe class environment.
