Event Overview

Starting a company is hard, but its even harder when you don't set up the right structure behind it.

During this 2 hour course, I'll speak from experience what to look for in a successful startup founder, and how to begin allocating ownership of the company. I'll round out the course with a technical description of early stage seed capital and some tips on startup fundraising.

From this course, you'll walk away knowing:
- What to look for in a startup founder
- Understanding of equity, what it is, and ways to allocate it
- A great grasp on the financial language and structure of raising early stage capital
- Free web tools and curated blogs to help you continue the tough journey of startup life!

Domingo Meneses attended DePaul University doubling in Management with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Database Infrastructures. He's built two companies in the entertainment, software and data spaces, with his second, and current venture, CrowdNoize, housed at 1871 tech hub. Domingo has built and taught a Sports and Entertainment Management program for young professionals at Forham University, as well as spoken about this topic at several conferences. Domingo loves to teach, and work with early stage entrepreneurs.
