Event Overview

When you become a mom, something happens. Not only are you caring for your little one, you're also opening the door to a wealth of innovation, ideas and creative solutions that you may not have experienced before.

Moms are some of the most innovative people, we just don't always know where to go in bringing these ideas to life.

This class will be part instructional, part collaborative, part forum and centered around the best ways, tools and resources in turning a brilliant idea into reality. Whether it's working with an existing partner, launching a crowdfunding campaign or starting a business from the ground up, we're going to look at options and share ideas to each walk away with a strong understanding of next steps to keep the idea alive and thriving!

Please come to class with:
1. An idea you believe in
2. A want to make it happen
3. Commitment to make it happen
4. Excitement to help others

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

This class is being taught by Catherine Merritt, a mom of two boys and never-ending idea-comer-upper. She's a director for a marketing agency and also founded MUMZY, a crowdfunding site for moms.

Having spent over a decade working in marketing, and almost five years as a mom herself, Catherine brings both personal and professional expertise in helping solve problems for moms. In creating MUMZY, Catherine believes she is solving one of the biggest problems for moms. By creating a rich, engaged, resourceful site and community to help all moms turn their brilliant ideas into realities, she is confident MUMZY will prove what she already knows: moms with great ideas and the support of other moms is not something to take lightly.
