MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

Nancy is a native Chicagoan and is passionate about connecting people. She has traveled widely and was a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in Masvingo, Zimbabwe from 1996-1998. That experience changed the way she looked at the world.

Nancy believes in paying it forward. She has been a homestay host for over 10 years. Nancy has had people from every continent stay in her home. She knows the value of sharing one's home and looks forward to meeting new hosts and students.

Nancy worked in the community colleges for 12 years. The schools had a very diverse student body. She understands the international student and seeing the American culture through a different set of eyes.

Nancy completed her Masters in Adult Education from DePaul University and received her BS from Illinois State University.
