Figure Drawing with Props
TOP RATED
Arts & DIY
There are lots of Figure Drawing sessions where you can draw a model. But imagine the narrative possibilities when a model is interacting with props!
In this special figure drawing session, we invite each student to bring in a prop from home. Students will then be able to direct the poses of our model with these props, establishing the body language necessary to tell a compelling visual story. And our experienced model will bring his own creativity (and props) to bear.
In this session, we will warm up with some fast poses, followed by several medium poses with props. The session will culminate in a long pose, giving everyone ample time to capture the details of the model and prop(s). As always, there is no required materials list. This will be a judgement-free zone, so please bring in any medium you feel comfortable working with. There will be a brief opportunity at the end to take a peek at what the other students have created.
Whether you are an experienced fine artist, a cartoonist interested in narrative, or a curious sketcher, you are more than welcome to take advantage of this unique opportunity!
All ages welcome
