Event Overview

Think you would make a great detective? Love role playing? Why not enjoy adult beverages and snacks with a professional biochemist while you learn how solve the perfect crime?

This is an interactive mystery party with a film noir theme. Scripts with "create your own adventure" options will be provided and there will be drinks and prohibition style snacks (appetizers, dinner, dessert) served throughout the evening. In this workshop you will learn basic forensic anthropology techniques such as bone, fiber, and entomology (bug) analysis as you take on the role of a forensic investigator. Use scale models of a crime scene and participate in a controlled ballistics activity as you collaborate with other participants to "solve" this mystery with evidence collected throughout the night. No actual firearms will be used or allowed. You'll take home a gift bag that includes your own fingerprint artwork and miniature replicas from the crime scene.
