Garlic Braiding
TOP RATED
Education
Join Dan Metzger of Willow Garlic Growers for a demonstration on braiding garlic into a variety of shapes. We’ll discuss ways to keep your garlic harvest fresh for months to come, as well as the merits of growing and eating several different heirloom varieties, including those from the Slow Food Ark of Taste.
Participants are welcome to bring their own homegrown garlic for a braid-along. Dan’s garlic and braids will also be available for purchase.
This demo will be located at Global Garden, one of Peterson Garden Project's community gardens.
Students may bring their own homegrown garlic to braid, if desired.
All ages welcome
We will provide string for the braid-along.
