Event Overview

Yoga for Strength / Total Body Yoga is a 7-week class series that will challenge and empower both the beginner and seasoned athlete with a fun and fast-paced workout. By incorporating Vinyasa flow, corework, balance and strength-building movements, you will sculpt long lean muscles, improve endurance, lose weight and burn more body fat. Each class will leave you feeling strong, balanced and relaxed, both inside and out.

Join Mary Lou in this fun and supportive class designed to find your inner warrior. Each class is designed to be different, fun and challenging using Mary Lou's proven training methods from Yoga, Strength training, Functional movements and Core building exercises.


This class is located at Shanti Yoga Studio. Shanti is located at 7646 W Touhy near Park Ridge in Chicago. Free parking available in the lot next door.


When signing up for this series you are registered for all seven classes beginning Nov 5th at 7pm - 8:15pm.

What to Bring

Bring your yoga mat if you have one. If not, no charge to use one of the studio's mats! A bottle of water is also recommended as we will sweat!

Minimum age

All ages welcome

What's Provided

Yoga mats, weights, blocks, towels are provided free as part of the class. Free parking is located next door to the studio in the cleaner's parking lot.
