Event Overview

If you've dabbled in gluten free, read the buzz on paleo or are simply looking to learn more about how to eat real food made purely with ingredients you can pronounce, this class is for you!

In my Dabble class you'll learn easy breakfast recipes you can make to jump start your day with healthy protein and vegetables. A few recipes we'll make and taste will be pumpkin pecan pancakes, cherry tarragon breakfast patties (a personal favorite for beach cookouts too), tuscan hash and apple sweet potato pancakes.

A foodie since forever, I lived in the cookbook section of the library as a kid, read cooking blogs for fun today, and experiment with new recipes weekly. I taught cooking classes while in school as a culinary TA and now for people wanting to learn everything from the perfect pie crust (hint: use vodka) to paleo.

    The teacher's place was a great venue as we got to enjoy the food on her deck. The food itself was really good, which was a lot of fun to make.

    One of my favorite Dabbles to date! Karen is absolutely delightful and is passionate about paleo. Even if you aren't looking to make a lifestyle change into paleo, a morning of delicious fresh cooked breakfast and good company is a wonderful way to start a weekend! I learned skills and learned about paleo in the best way possible.

    Karen did an amazing job teaching the class. She was very welcoming and made you feel like you were a good friend just hanging out while learning new skills. I would highly recommend any classes with Karen and can't wait to try another class of hers! Plus all of the recipes were delicious.

    I'm not super-strict when it comes to paleo, but Karen is very knowledgeable on the topic and a hostess without equal. I ate -- like a king -- a breakfast fit for champions, and left quite satisfied with the recipes for each of the three courses in hand.

    This course is definitely worth checking out, even if you aren't paleo!
