Learn how to prepare healthy versions of these comfort foods that taste great and leave you feeling satisfied, not stuffed!
In this class you will learn:
How to make a dairy-free Nacho Cheese dip
How to substitute a flour or corn tortilla with something green & lean
How to stuff a burrito so you won’t feel stuffed
How to shred and spice cabbage for a lighter version of Mexican rice
How to make a spicy chocolate treat
Menu will include Nacho Cheese Dip & Veggies, Burrito with “Re-fried Beans” (raw style!), Marinated Portabello & Kale, Salsa, Guacamole, “Sour Cream”, Mexican Spiced Cabbage, Spicy Chocolate

Linda Szarkowski is a graduate of the internationally renowned Living Light Culinary Institute. While there she received certifications in the Benefits of Raw Food Nutrition, Chef and Instructor. She also holds certifications from both Alissa Cohen’s Living on Live Food Program and The Un-cooking School. Linda has been a chef at the award winning Chicago Diner and at Beet’s Cafe in Austin, Texas. In addition to teaching classes with Green Spirit, she has taught at the Raw Gourmet International and has been a demo chef at the Taste of Chicago for the past 3 years.
