Event Overview
Do the names pappardelle, orecchiette, and farfalle mean anything to you? Do you wish they did? Dust your hands with some flour and learn to make homemade pasta!
In this class we will begin by a short introduction about a few types of pasta; about where specific types have originated and what those names actually mean. Then we will put your taste buds to the test as you sink your teeth into some delicious carby goodness.
Finally we're off and running-or should I say cooking- learning how to hand roll some pasta of your own. Traditional mouthwatering recipes will be provided. Impress your friends, or prepare a candle lit dinner for your amore!

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST
Merrily's favorite hobby has been cooking since she had to climb the counters in the kitchen to reach ingredients on the highest shelves. Her expertise ranges from homemade bread, macaroons, falafel, you name it! She's always looking for new recipes and ideas.
This love for cooking took her to Italy for four months where she not only became addicted to espresso but was taught how to cook in the Piemontese style-including pasta. She loves to cook fresh, tasty foods that don't break the bank.
