Event Overview

Join us at West Elm Chicago on Tuesday, May 23rd, from 6:30-8 pm as we host our resident maker, plant whisperer and terrarium designer, the talented Laura Mae Noble of Noble Terraria. In our latest DIY class, you will select a planter just right for you and your space, and Laura Mae will guide you in creating a planting in that vessel, with a selection of sun-loving plants from the succulent family, decorative stone and sand elements. You'll come away with a planting that will not only look amazing, but will be likely to thrive in your home. You will learn some important aspects of succulent care, and Laura Mae will be available for trouble-shooting, if you have any specific questions about succulent care, or past "prickly" succulent experiences. All experience levels welcome!

We will also be providing the class with delicious snacks to sample while Laura Mae guides you through the creation of your very own succulent planter, in the vessel of your choice.

Cost for the evening includes planting mediums, sand, soil, edibles, and drinks.

note: You will be able to buy planter containers and plants at a special class-only rate, during class. They will be an additional purchase, but at a reduced rate: You can pick any one planter in the store in which you'd like to create your planting.

Requires a ticket for entry.
