Event Overview

Learn the basics of using chainmaille to make your own jewelry accessories, and more. Discover how it works, learn how to choose your materials, examine different weaves, and make something of your own while socializing with other crafty people over a glass of your favorite draught from Empirical. When it's over, keep your materials and tools to further explore this art on your own.


This event will take place at Chicago's own Empirical Brewery Taproom in Ravenswood. As such, it is restricted to persons 21 and over.

Minimum age

All ages welcome

What's Provided

Each participant will receive two pair of wide-nose pliers with ergonomic handles and 500 rings. I will also have various assorted clasps and jewelry findings on hand should anyone need them.
