Event Overview

Are you considering adding a 4-legged friend to your family? Do your kids love dogs but don't really know much about them? Would you like to make sure that your child knows how to be safe around dogs, regardless of where he/she sees one?

"I Love Dogs" is a class for 5 - 10 year olds who want to learn more about dogs. The class is presented by Alicia Obando of  Pitter Patter Parenting, which helps families and communities manage kids and pets together safely. She will talk to the kids about what kinds of dogs there are, how to care for a dog, and how to interact safely with dogs. There will be a certified toy poodle, named Tina, who will participate in the class for demonstrations. The class will be very interactive and all the kids will go home with a pet care coloring book and certificate. The class is $15 per child and an adult guardian must be present during the class.
