Event Overview

Encourage your child to get creative in the kitchen and experience the pride of making a meal for the whole family. In this hands-on class, they’ll learn basic cooking fundamentals such as knife skills, cooking safety, how to wash and prep vegetables, and how to experiment with flavor combinations. They’ll work in teams to make their own lasagna, and sit down to enjoy the meal with their new friends. We’ll even teach them a bonus easy dessert that they can take home to share with family! Recipes will be provided.

This class is for children aged 7-11.

Parent will need to sign a waiver upon arrival. Please email lindsay@petersongarden.org in advance if your child has any food allergies we should be aware of, so we can accomodate.
