MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

Rosemary Limoncello is a Chicago native with a profound love for bees. Her beekeeping journey started back in 2011and she has been enamored of the subject ever since. She interned last summer with Biodynamic Beekeeper Gunter Hawk ( Queen of the Sun)

Deepening her knowledge in how to build a more sustainable partnership with the honeybee. Rosemary continues to teach across the midwest each summer weaving her understanding into Environmental Festivals, Nature Retreats as well as teaching beekeeping courses with local homeschooling groups in the Chicago-land area.
She has recently returned for traveling abroad studying with beekeepers across Britain & Central Europe. Rosemary believes now more than ever that the honeybees carry a beautiful, yet urgent message about our environment. She believes our children through their learnings and wonderment can teach us perhaps how we can thrive on a more sustainable planet.
