Event Overview
If you want to gather some folks together for an outrageous, but cultured time, then tag me! Here is the way it will look: I come to your home or your venue of choice and I bring all the supplies, paint, canvases, paper, table easels and art instruction. You supply the people, wine, snacks, food, and then we give the crowd a great experience in creating some art and memories! I have many workshops to choose from: Mixed Media Explosion (high energy, playful, exploratory, silly). 2. Learning to Draw (blind contours, mark making exercise, sketching, slower, contemplative, intense but very fun). 3. Painting Party (the typical very beginner approach to all copying same work in which you choose the painting) 4. Family Photo/Portrait/Landscape/House/Scene etc., (everyone brings their favorite photo and we work on creating a piece of art from that source in a light and fun way) 5. Landscape sketch in Soft Pastels (An easy way to learn a classical method of creating art and learning how to see color) 6. Self-Portraits (Bring photo of yourself or mirror, I go over classical proportion, abstraction, and expressionism)....I have many more to choose from and we can meet to discuss what you think would be the most fun for your party! I love to teach art and I'm great at being a clown at the same time. Guaranteed laughs and something awesome for your guests to leave with. They will be talking about this party for a long time! You choose where and when! Price 50.00 per person.

Have you always wanted to learn how to draw and paint or make sculpture? Not sure if you can do it? I have never failed at teaching someone how to. I've been teaching art for 25 years. I've taught college level at the top art school in the country and have taught people of all ages and backgrounds. I have a bachelors and masters degree in studio art from School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I'm a practicing artist who has invented some fantastic methods for learning how to do all these things. I will be able to teach you how to paint like an old master, or to create beautiful abstract paintings, landscapes or still life paintings. If you aren't sure what you want to learn...I can help you figure that out in ten minutes! I can teach you how to find your artistic voice. This is my gift and I want to share it with you.
I do parties as well and can guarantee everyone will be so excited with what they create!
