Event Overview

Make a set of four coasters using your own photographs!

The coasters will be made using a gel medium transfer on 4″x4″ tumbled marble tiles. This is the same method used for Re4mado Photography coasters.

-Students should be 12 years or older (we will be using a razor blade to remove dried up glue from tile edges)

-Supplies for making magnets using the same technique will be available for purchase (2" blank tiles and magnet). 4" blank tiles will also be available for purchase.

-Please email 4 digital images in advance to info@localgoodschicago.com.

Taught by award winning Chicago based photographer, Rossana Reformado, who specializes in Polaroid SX-70 manipulations and digital infrared photography.

The majority of Re4mado products are created from Polaroid SX-70 images using time zero film. This film was discontinued by Polaroid in December 2005, so the products are very rare and unique.

Rossana's work is on display at Local Goods Chicago.
