Event Overview

This two-day class provides the 16-hour training needed for the Illinois CCW license, plus permits for other states. It combines the NRA Basic Pistol Class, the Utah CFP Class, and the Illinois CCW class into a two day session:

June 8 (Day 1)
June 15 (Day 2)

This class is suitable for either advanced or beginning gun owners, whether interested in a CCW license or not. Basic safety and gun handling are covered, along with operation of various types of handguns, and, of course, the concealed carry law. Holstering skills are also taught, and the class ends with a live fire exercise to qualify for "graduation" from the class.

Both men and women of all ages 21 and over are welcome.

What to Bring

Their own gun and holster if they have one.

Minimum age

Prerequisites

No prior firearms training or experience required for the 2 day class. Though having a gun and holster already are desirable it is not necessary and range qualification can be done with instructor's guns.
