Event Overview

Ever want to make multiple copies of a drawing? Maybe change up the color combinations or paper with each copy, seeing how these elements affect the drawing? Linocut is a fun way to make endless prints starting with one drawing.

In this workshop, artist Dean Johnson demonstrates linocut carving and printmaking techniques, specifically focusing on multi-color printing. He then guides students, step-by-step, through the same process. Everything you need to create a multi-color print is provided, including tools you can take home with you!

You will get so much mileage out of a drawing once you know linocut. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced carver, your mastery of multi-color printing starts here!
