  What a lovely way to spend an afternoon - instructor provided tshirts, sample material and cute totes for printing. Process was easy to catch on to and instruction was great. Fun activity for a group or on your own.

  The DIY Intro to screen printing class with Vanessa was excellent! Vanessa was really friendly and fun. She explained the screen printing process very clearly and helped ensure all the students understood what to do, while supporting us along the way. My friends and I used our own design that we brought, but she had many great designs ready, with shirts and fabric to use. I highly recommend this screen printing class for anyone wanting to learn about screen printing in a fun, laid back environment. This class inspired me to get a screen printing kit of my own!

  I'm a little biased because Vanessa is a friend of mine, but all the other comments people have posted about her are true - she is incredibly sweet, patient and prepared. She works hard to keep the class running on time and she gives you all the information you need to take your newly learned skills from the classroom to home.

  I had a great time at this class. It was perfectly small to accomodate questions and one on one time. It was a quick learning experience that you can definitely use at home for your screen printing needs. The teacher was great and quite engaging. You'll love her accent. She was taught about the inks and color mixing and then had practice items for you to print on there. I came home with 4 t-shirts with two different prints. My friends have seen my items and want them for themselves. I highly recommend the class for a quick fun class.

  Vanessa was very patient and sweet. The small class size was also helpful and allowed for everyone to take their time and ask questions about the screen printing process. The location was also helpful with parking nearby. We left the class with neat screen prints and are looking forward to creating stencils to try out at home!

  I picked this class to do with a friend for her birthday. It was great! The process is very simple and affordable. I can't wait to buy the materials and salvage t-shirts that got a splotch and make gifts for Christmas. It is a small group so you really get to interact and have the teacher's attention and help. She is great! I made a T for myself and daughter, plus some pillow cases and a napkin. I would definitely bring a few extra things to print on. It would be great to do with a group of friends and unlike the painting parties you'll be able to really use the results. The teacher mentioned making cute onesies for a new baby or a way to make personal bridesmaid gifts. Lots of possibilities!

  This is a great class. Screen Printing is so much simpler than I thought it would be. This is definitely something I can do at home on my own. Vanessa is great. She explained everything very directly and with simple instructions. She had all of the materials available. I also liked the small class size and the location.

  The intro to screen printing class was really fun and easy to follow. Vanessa is very thorough in her explanations and patient in helping each of us with the process. The class time is also set perfectly to finish at least 2 projects - I did not feel rushed at all to finish and I really enjoyed the results of my project. Two other students brought blank totes with them to print on as they wanted to make something for some family - this was a great idea and if you have something particular in mind (t-shirt, dishtowels, tote bags,etc.) it is a good idea to bring your own. Otherwise, supplies are all provided by Vanessa. It was a great class!

  I had no experience with screen printing before taking this class, but I left with a tremendous amount of knowledge, as well as the confidence that I can do this on my own! I also left the class with a neat, finished product. The teacher, Vanessa, was excellent. She was prepared, thorough, and kept us on track and on time. It was a great afternoon!

  Vanessa is a great teacher - fun and efficient! The time seemed to go by really fast - but then someone said it was only half over - which made me happy. As it was, it only took two hours for her to teach us all a new hobby and give us all time to practice. I think everyone was very happy about it. And the space (Paperish Mess) is very attractive and full of interesting art - the perfect place for the class. Thanks Vanessa and thanks Dabble!

  This class was great! All the materials, including the shirts/cloth, ink and screens were provided for us and ready. The location was great, too, on a street with lots of cool shops and restaurants. While the process was simple, it really helped having a teacher there to guide us, and also someone who's already made all the mistakes and knows how to avoid them! There were some cool pre-made stencils, or we could create our own. She showed us how to get all the materials we needed on the cheap, and how to make sure our designs would last through the wash. This was a fun class, and I highly recommend it! Great way to spend an afternoon.
