Event Overview

Over the course of 6 weeks you will learn to incorporate lifestyle changes that will allow you to become YOU, VERSION 2.0! Studies have shown that the people who report the greatest happiness also report having a well balanced life inclusive of positive relationships, gratitude, and purposeful living. Many of us fall into the trap of “waiting to be happy” until we get that promotion or better job, find the right partner, lose the extra weight, etc. But why not start to get happy now?! In fact, happiness like any habit becomes easier and more natural the more we practice it. Start by joining us this fall on Monday nights from 7:00-8:30.

Here is a breakdown of the six class sessions:

Mindfulness & Meditation with Heather Shannon, LCPC on 9/8
Nutrition with Heather Shannon, LCPC on 9/15
Creativity with Katy Groves, LCSW on 9/22
Fitness with Kate Schneider, LPC on 9/29
Play with Eric Cho, LCPC on 10/6
Style for Self-Esteem with Emily Woods on 10/13

Health and Wellness Counseling Associates is located in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago and specializes in providing a holistic approach to mental health for successful entrepreneurs and “Type A” professionals. Our psychotherapy work focuses primarily on helping clients with anxiety issues, addictive/compulsive behaviors and relationship concerns. Our health coaching services focus on improving digestion (which is very connected to mental health!) and reducing compulsive eating behaviors.
