Event Overview

CREATE A SOUNDSCAPE! Learn the magic of sound design. Create a soundscape for your own pleasure, or surprise your spouse, significant other, children or grandchildren.

This is an introductory sound design class. Participants will learn and apply the basics of sound design using freeware software: Audacity.

When the class concludes each participant will know....
... how to search for sound effects and music (SFX) online.
... how to import sound effects and/or music into the Audacity program.
... how to export (mixdown or render) 2-3 sound tracks.

Each participant will take home a CD of the Soundscape they created.

Materials Needed:
A computer or laptop
Acess to the internet (but not necessarily required)

What to Bring

Three (3) blank CDs.

All ages welcome
