Event Overview

Grab your sweetheart, your bestie, or your own adorable self this post-Valentine's Day weekend and head to Chalet Nursery where you and a partner (or you solo) can create a big, enchanting terrarium to escape the winter cold. Laura Mae Noble, terrarium designer and founder of Noble Terraria, will walk you through the process of creating your own living green world with mosses, terrarium plants, sand, stones, and a festive accent. You'll construct a unique piece curated with elegance, botanical acumen and innovative design.  With minimal maintenance you'll add a natural freshness to your home and can enjoy your new indoor garden as you wait for your outdoor garden to awaken in the spring.  

All materials will be provided, including the container, and some special semi-precious accent stones and figurines.

ABOUT REGISTERING together, or individually: Tickets say "per person", but beacause we are offering this as a couples class, two people can attend per registration, if you choose. Tickets are $60 per terrarium, and pairs of guests (or couples) create one large terrarium together (for the price we normally charge per ticket). Also, as an individual, you can create your own extra-large terrarium solo, if you prefer, for the $60 registration fee. Again, the cost per terrarium (whether one or two create it) is $60.

*note: the terrariums in the photos are similar, but not necessarily identical to, the one students will make. Each one is unique, and these photos give you an idea of what your piece will look like, the general size, and just how delicious it may be.
