Mandalas show up everywhere we look for a reason – they’re one of the world’s most ancient and persistent symbols – and as such they have the potential to hold great magic (if you know how they work.) Mandala is a complex abstract design that is usually circular in form. In fact, "mandala" is a Sanskrit word that means "circle" and it has one identifiable center point, from which emanates an array of symbols, shapes and forms. Mandalas can contain both geometric and organic forms. They can also contain recognizable images that carry meaning for the person who is creating it.
During our time together, I will demonstrate different ways you can engage with the mandala, including simple methods for construction which you can repeat over and over again to create unique designs you love. You will also learn about the origins of the designs and what it has to offer our contemporary lives. Lastly we’ll explore some further aspects of the sacred geometric patterns to create self-exploration, dedicated to awakening. Designing your own mandalas can be both inspirational and therapeutic. In essence, mandalas represent the connection between our inner worlds and outer reality. After we are done drawing our patterns we will be coloring our mandalas with either pencil colors or crayons.
You don’t need to have any drawing experience. Just come and have fun!
All supplies are included and the class sizes are small, so they are fun and interactive!
Hope to see you there!

I really enjoyed the class and meeting Heta. It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon, very relaxing and insightful. I would definitely take another class from Heta.
