Event Overview
This class will Incorporate heavy home-machine sewing + medium leather hand-stitching techniques to create an incredible leather fold-over clutch. Materials include pre-interfaced repurposed textile + felt for stabilizing + pre-hole-punched leather + wax thread + stitching hand needle + magnetic clasp + personalized leather tag with attendee's name!
A workshop for those who have a soft spot for sustainable, hand made products. This adventure provides the student with a pre-fabricated kit, and a hands on how-to on combining leather working techniques with upcycled textiles.
Beyond learning wax threading, four sewing machines will be readily available to incorporate linings and added details into the mix.
The undeniable benefits of enrolling in our class is that fun and satisfaction are guaranteed. Students get to take home and utilize their creations and exercise this true form of innovation.
