Event Overview

Have a dated dining room set that needs updating? Did the cat's do a number on the fabric? Want to learn something new?

In upholstery 101, we'll take you through the most basic information you need to start redoing the cushions and upholstery in your home. This class focuses on chair seats and seat-backs.

Students are required to bring in one or two chairs that they wish to reupholster, and one - two yards of fabric to work with. Sources for fabric include Joanne Fabrics, Hancock Fabrics, and (our favorite): The Textile Discount Outlet on 2121 w. 21st street (ask for the upholstery room).

All other class materials and tools will be provided.
