Event Overview

The time has come! Bring your inner super-shero out into the world and grab what's yours!

If you've ever felt fearful, unsure if you're worthy enough for love or money or anything else, this class is for you! Whether you think your avatar might be Catwoman, Vixen, Wonder Woman, Sailor Moon, Buffy or someone else; join us for a fun class that will show you how to cultivate confidence, power and vulnerability, in a way that is authentically you.

The worlds of neuroscience, social psychology, and social work has proven us that the real secrets for our thriving and flourishing are inside us already. Amy Cuddy's TED talk about the Power Pose, is one of the most viewed of all TED talks ever! We'll help you make sense of what she says and transform your body and mind for greater confidence. We'll also draw on the wisdom of Brené Brown, another power TED talker, when we talk about what gets in the way of our innate power, courage, confidence and authenticity.

Then we'll get into examining the unique qualities of various female super heroes or sheroes as we like to call them, and help you find the qualities which most resonate with you and discover how to put them to work making you feel stronger and ready to take on the whole world. You'll leave knowing who your avatar is and how to pull those strengths into your everyday life.

Just bring a notebook along for recording your thoughts and insights. We'll take care of the rest.
