Event Overview

If a picture can speak a thousand words, what can you say with a whole visual journal? Visual journaling is an image-based version of the written journal.

Visual journaling allows you to tap into and express non-verbal parts of yourself. As you continue with visual journaling, you begin to develop your own symbolic language, gain a deeper understanding of your authentic self, and ultimately create and re-create your own narrative.

This class is for everybody, no type of prior experience is needed, just a willingness to engage. You will learn the basic concepts behind visual journaling, techniques and ideas for journaling, and begin to create your visual journal.

You will leave class with your newly created journal and inspiration for your journey. Because you cannot do anything "wrong" in visual journaling you can work on it at home, or bring it to follow up sessions.

All art materials will be provided for the class, just bring yourself. Of course, if you have any materials you feel driven to bring such as papers, photos, ect., you certainly are welcome to.
