Event Overview

Are you interested in weight training but unsure where to start? Or do you ever wonder how to design your own workouts?

Sunday Morning Movement and Mimosas begins with a 40 minute workout. We will start with mobility, then move on to strength training using kettlebells, dumbbells, or barbells. Instruction will be given on the proper use of equipment and weights. In addition there will be a large emphasis on correction of form and technique. Students will have the option to modify any exercise based on level or movement restrictions. All levels welcome.

Everyone will get a good workout from the meatheads to the women (or men) who have never picked up more than 5 lbs !

After we get a little sweaty, we will cool down with a Mimosa Bar! While you enjoy your post-workout treat, the instructor will discuss how to design your own workouts and answer any questions about strength training and programming!

You will leave feeling strong from your workout, knowing a bit a more about weight training, and refreshed from the Mimosas and increased knowledge!

What to Bring

Just you!! And clothes that you can move in!

Sarah Carusona works at Rebell Strength and Conditioning. She has a BA in Dance from the University of Iowa and after graduating a year early she spent three years training and dancing professionally. Sarah then made the transition to strength coaching and has enjoyed seeing her clients transform both their bodies and mindsets towards health and fitness.

Sarah is a StrongFirst Level 1 Kettlebell Instructor and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer.
