Event Overview

Remember that lovely tango scene from "Scent of a Woman" or those seductive tango moves of Antonio Banderas from "Take the Lead"? Discover your inner Al Pacino or Antonio Banderas in this Beginner Tango Class. Don't worry if you have two left feet. Just remember, there're no mistakes in the tango. If you make a mistake, get all tangled up, just tango on!

In this 50-minute dance class, you learn:

Basic American Tango Steps
Fun and dramatic Tango Poses and Flare
Basic Leading and Following Skills

Both singles and couples are welcome. To make it a fun social experience and help you understand the roles of leading and following, we rotate partners in class. Rotating is encouraged but optional.

What's more? You are welcome to bring your favorite wine/beer to help you loosen up. And it's a great way to meet new people or spend time with your friends!

*Alcohol consumption is permitted only for adults over 21.

Oh what fun learning to Tango! It was a good glimpse into the world of ballroom dancing and I am craving for more! The teacher was fabulous, needless to say. Great Friday!

This was our first dabble class and it was so much fun! We signed up for the beginner tango class in which we both don’t have any experience in any kind of dancing and it was soo fun. Loved how the teacher made everyone feel super comfortable and didn’t call anyone out (it’s the worst when the instructor is calling out people for doing the moves wrong when it should just be fun and laid back). We had so much fun we are thinking of coming back for some more beginner dance classes just as a fun date night. Definitely recommend for a date night or even to come with a group of friends (but everyone who came had a partner).

It was a cold outside, but caliente inside the dancing studio. Szewai (C-Y) did a great job teaching us the basics of the tango. It was fun environment, and I would recommend bringing booze.

My girlfriend and I have always said we wanted to take a dancing class. We wanted to do something different to celebrate 3 years being together, so I looked on Dabble and found this class was on the day. I signed us up on the spot! Szewai was a great, patient, and energetic teacher. Hope to go back soon.
