Event Overview

The French Tape Binding is an exposed spine binding that features the French link stitch sewing technique over ribbons attached to a hard cover.  In the first session of this class, participants will learn paper tearing and gluing techniques to create a block of pages and a hard book cover with attached tapes. In the second session of this class, participants will bring the prepared book parts together using the French link stitching technique. Each participant will leave class with their own French Tape book made from upcycled materials. Participants are welcome to bring their own decorative paper to the first class to personalize their covers.


Please note that this class has two sessions on Thursdays, February 21 + February 28 from 6:30-8:30pm each night.
