Make your own spring flower sculpture out of hot liquid glass! Try your hand at glassworking!
We'll start with a furnace full of 2000 degree liquid glass and learn a little about the ancient art of glassworking. You'll pick colors, decide on a design, manipulate hot glass and end up with a beautiful solid sculpted glass flower. If you've ever been intrigued by glassworking this is the perfect opportunity to try it yourself.
You'll learn some basic furnace glass vocabulary, how to move safely around the glass studio and how to use basic glassworking tools. The flower you make will need to be cooled slowly to prevent breakage and will be available for pick up a few days after your class.

Great class, the glass flower is beautiful. This class isn't as hands on as the beginning class, but I still enjoyed it. Once again, Kit is a great teacher!

EXCELLENT class and experience. Kit was excellent in instructing us newbies on what to do and even saved our pieces when we were going to potentially mess them up. 2 thumbs WAY up!! A+++++

Kit was a great instructor -- very patient and engaging, and really curious about everyone in the class too.

Had no clue what to expect going into this class, but it sounded like a fun, new experience and it exceeded my expectations. I learned a lot about glass blowing and learned about exploding glass, luckily none exploded! I'd highly recommend this class and Kit(instructor).
