Event Overview

Wouldn’t be fun to be able to make really great bagels and pretzels in your own kitchen? You can and it’s easier than you think!

In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to make these fun and delicious twice-cooked comfort foods at home. You’ll learn to mix, proof, shape, boil and bake pretzels and New York worthy bagels and bialys, with classic toppings like sesame and poppy seeds, and filled with cinnamon and raisins. Plus, you’ll learn to make the flavorful compound butter and cream cheese that will make your bagels shine.

You’ll leave class well-fed, with bagels, bialys, pretzels and compound butter to take home, recipes and the knowledge that great bagels are as close as your own kitchen!

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

The Good Food Project is built to make cooking fast, fun and accessible for everyone. Everybody should know how to cook things they enjoy eating and the more things you can cook, the better.

When you come to our classes, come with an open mind. You’ll try some new things, have a fantastic experience and leave feeling like you have gained the knowledge and confidence that will make your next culinary creation extraordinary.

People tell us that the best takeaways from our classes are not the big lessons, they are the tips and ideas that will make your cooking life easier and improving on what you are already doing. Things like substituting ingredients, using spices and slicing an onion without crying.

Join us for a class. We’ll cook up some great flavors and taste some awesome things together, plus we’d love to talk food with you! Hope to see you soon!
