Event Overview

This is a one hour basic class to show small business owners how to get listed in Google Business, also known as Google +, or Google Places. This is the initial step to get listed in Google Local Search.

This is being held at a Mid Continent Public Library, you HAVE TO SIGN UP HERE; http://bit.ly/raytownlibrary, in addition to signing up on Dabble. We apologize for the duplicate effort but it's something we have to do to use their venue.

Target Audience; Attendee should be familiar with basic computer skills including; email, surfing. skilled typing. Preferably student is small or medium size business owner with physical address (preferable) but "service area" businesses are fine as well. Home based businesses are perfectly acceptable.

What this class is NOT; Computer hardware, Computer software (MS Office, Quicken, SQL, etc.), how to use email.

Ideal target user; small business owner, new business, or, just launching or building an online presence, or, focusing on building the online presence for existing business, or, just someone who wants to learn about how all this works, or someone who has a website but is not satisfied with how it is performing.

Attendees will leave class with a Google Business site set up for their business, and understand the basic benefits, features, and tools associated with the site.

In his current role, Jonathan is part of a small team managing thousands of servers. He specializes in enterprise Microsoft Server technologies, and VMware virtualization, HP Enterprise Server hardware, holding numerous certifications in both.
