Event Overview

Soak up the healing vibrations of Tibetan sound bowls as you allow your body to let go in this gentle, yin yoga practice. Yin Yoga uses passive asanas for longer periods of time to help slow down our doing, analytical nature and rebalance the nervous system. Poses are held 3-5 minutes to access deep fascial release, unblocking stagnated energy and emotions in the body. The combination of Yin and sound healing creates sanctuary for you to come home to your heart. 


Leave feeling refreshed, restored and relaxed. 


This workshop will be led by Katie Petersen of Active Evolution. Katie is a renowned Powerlifter, Kettlebell Coach, Strength Coach, Nutrition Counselor, Yoga Instructor Reiki Practitioner, Sound Healer, Spiritual Life Coach, and forever-student of the Body.

As this workshop is a group experience, please plan to arrive early (10 minutes) as any latecomers will be extremely disruptive. Please also dress comfortably and bring anything to make your experience more enjoyable. TOTEM provides blankets, pillows and yoga mats but we find that most participants prefer their own materials;)
