Event Overview

Crocheting with plastic yarn, or "plarn," is a thrifty way to repurpose plastic bags! Learn the fundamentals to basket-making using simple crochet techniques. Community crafter, Angelina, will demonstrate and lead the class through basic stitches to crochet in the round. Participants will learn tricks to making their own plarn balls from upcycled plastic grocery bags. With just a few simple materials, you can create a functional contemporary basket for your home or a beautiful gift basket!
