Event Overview
Ladies and Gentlemen, Learn how to make your own corsages and boutonnieres. Just like the old days, when ladies and gentlemen used to adorn themselves with flowers..... you can do it, too, but make it modern! It's up to you!
There are many techniques to be learned about the art of making corsages and boutonnieres, but I will try to keep the class simple. Flowers, foliage and other construction materials will be provided; the cost is included in the class fee. Advanced students are welcome, but this will be a hands-on basics class, and each student will soon be able to pin their work on a lucky someone.
Students are also welcome to bring pictures of inspirations, and whatever supplies they would like to incorporate into their work.... some things to include could be buttons, old jewelry, ribbon, ...whatever you'd like to use to create. There will be an assortment of these things, but if you'd like to bring something you know you'd like to use, then do!
By the end of this class, you will have at least one corsage and/or boutonniere, and the skills to make more.
***Tea from Smalls will also be available for purchase
