Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have colorful flowers in your home that didn’t die or need water? Come learn to make your own flowers using origami – the art of paper folding, and create fabulously fun flowers that last more than a season. In this class you’ll learn to fold three different types of flowers from “reclaimed” paper- including books, catalogs, magazines, comics, maps, etc. You’ll then arrange your flowers onto a fun alternative style wreath or garland to hang in your home. And with your new knowledge of flower folding you’ll be able to create endless bouquets of fun flowers after class. Participants are welcome to bring their own catalogs/books/papers to fold into flowers as well as a frame in a shape they prefer for their wreath.
All ages welcome
All materials provided. Feel free to bring in your own paper.
